Mathematics Department has 31 tenure or tenure track, 7 full-time temporary faculty members, and 1 part-time faculty members. As of spring 2009, there are two hundred thirty six students enrolled in the undergraduate mathematics program, one hundred ninty four students in the mathematics education program, forty seven students in the actuarial science program and twenty two students in the statistics program. We have thirty two doctoral students, eight master's students, and six in the recently created graduate certification program in data mining. In total we have forty seven graduate students that are supported by graduate assistantships or fellowships. In addition we have sixteen graduate students currently taking courses but are not supported; four in data mining, five master's students, and six doctoral students. |
